100 Books Like The Secret Intelligence of Water

This book was recommended to me by the first sound practitioner who facilitated a memorable sound healing session with me. Trusting my intuition, I decided to give it a chance. I found myself deeply engrossed in Inayat Khan’s soothing and logical approach to sound, so much so that it inspired me to embark on a similar journey of my own. Shortly after reading this book, I left my corporate life behind to write my first book and open my sound healing practice. 

This book is a true gem. Khan’s masterful presentation of abstract concepts like imagination, desire, mysticism, mortality, and immortality, and their connection to sound, has a profound, Rumi-like effect on the soul. I find myself returning to its wisdom every few months, continually reaping the rich bounty it offers. 

This book profoundly shaped my life. I discovered Eleftherios through my astrology community; he’s an expert in mystical connections between number theory, the Pythagorean theorem, and life on Earth. After one consultation, I knew I wanted to explore gematria and its hidden wonders.

What I love most about Eleftherios’ ancient approach is how he effortlessly connects the significance of gematria to various aspects of human knowledge. Eleftherios skillfully reveals the relevance of ideas, historical events, and philosophy through numbers.

I’ve read this book at least 20 times—and plan to revisit it again—and highly recommend it to anyone seeking deeper meanings and correlation between seemingly unrelated concepts by numbers.

As a prolific author, I adore Richard’s exceptional writing and gift of articulating the deepest feelings and mysteries many of us can merely feel. His passion and talent for exploring life’s greatest questions are truly inspiring.

I am captivated by this book’s enrapturing exploration of the universe’s endless riddles. His book, unique perspective, and wealth of knowledge make each of his writings a treasured piece in my collection. This book is no exception. For years to come, I will be fascinated by its thought-provoking topics on thought forms, paranormal phenomena, and reimagining the universe with a poetic and astute approach. 

Mr. Emoto proved that water also has consciousness.

He exposed water to music, then took pictures of the resulting crystals it formed. The beautiful music would form gorgeous crystals, and then words like retarded or hopeless would form distorted crystals. This is proof that sounds with emotional charges affect how water holds the consciousness of the vibration.

He suggests that intention and language may influence human well-being, given the body’s 80% water. Blending experimental results with spiritual themes, the book emphasizes interconnectedness, personal responsibility, and collective consciousness. If you want a better life, tell your cells!

I heard Emoto speak excitedly about raising the vibration of the planet by using positive words with water. He talked about crossing earthbound spirits so they wouldn’t drag the vibration of the planet down, something I had been working on for a few years. A delightful author with an incredible gift to the world!

This book showed me things that both thrilled me and made me look so deeply at myself, at times, it was painful. I love it because it shows me—on a soul level—that everything is listening. This book, by one of the greatest thinkers of the 20th century, offers a personal insight into understanding and appreciating the vastness of the Cosmos. It’s a book that spans so much and paints the most accurate picture I’ve read of how we might fit into the Universe.  

The best book of readings on the controversy between "intelligent design" creationism (which is more intellectually respectable than "young Earth" creationism, the adherents of which believe that every word of the book of Genesis is literally true), and secular thinkers. Essays cover the truth of Darwinist theories, the nature of parents' rights to choose what their children are taught, the Constitutional law of education, the epistemological stance of naturalism as an unchallengeable assumption in scientific method, and various other relevant topics. The essays are generally as clear and jargon-free as it is possible to be, given that their authors are scholars.

I have always appreciated John Haught’s point that theologians, in particular, have to do a better job of thinking about how to incorporate evolutionary theory into their theologies. While I would not follow him all the way, I learned much from his arguments that the ongoing debate between Darwinian evolutionists and Christian apologists is fundamentally misdirected; he suggests that both sides mistakenly persist in focusing on an explanation of underlying design and order in the universe. His own suggestions for the direction we might take are intriguing and provide much food for thought. What is lacking, he argues, is the notion of novelty, a necessary component of evolution and the essence of the unfolding of the divine mystery.  

Blink is a book about how you already know what you don’t know. Malcolm Gladwell breaks down how our instincts and “gut feeling” are always emotional reactions. Those instincts are based on past experiences and knowledge built over time. However, these instincts, whether they are acted upon or not, can be extremely valid even though we have trouble articulating it more than a “sixth sense.”  

Explaining how these instincts are developed and (more importantly) learning how to break them down in a way to communicate them in a meaningful way is how many leaders develop emotional intelligence and business acumen.
