I recommend this book because Pete clearly understands that empathetic leadership is a way to connect emotionally with your team. I recommend this book because not only does it talk about leadership, but it talks about how your leadership can “shine a light in the world.” I really like how Hortense and Caroline correlate how leadership can make a difference in the lives of others. It is very inspiring.

I recommend this book because Mike Kraus understands that leadership comes in different forms and at different levels within an organization. I like how he describes leadership from varying perspectives, making it more of a journey than a destination. This is a must-read for anyone new to management or aspiring to become a manager.

I’ve read hundreds of novels, many of them Christian romances, while sitting at my children’s bedsides. They have to be well-written, no smut, and if the characters are Catholic Christians like me, all the better.

Here’s one about a good girl attracted to a good guy, but neither of them can seem to get past his bad boy past. It’s easy to give lip service to redemption – sure, people change! But to build a life on that change? That’s another thing.
