Stephanie Lincoln Why Stephanie loves this book

This book was so quiet and thought provoking yet, a edge of your seat page turner. It is a "first contact" book, but not really, it's actually a book about death and how we grieve. This is a book that sat with me even when I wasn't reading it. I would describe it as "haunting" because of how personal the concepts of grief and death are to people. It was anything but predictable. I saw some reviews complaining that there wasn't some sort of huge "realization" or victory moment for the protagonist at the end. I actually really liked that about this book. Not a ll questions get answered. Sometimes there is no victory. Sometimes its a slog, and it just ends. That's real life. I very much enjoyed this book and I hope those out there that are ok with a little melancholy will love it too.
