Why Gillian loves this book
My favourite kind of story. The characters could easily be real people, the kind of every day people you know. I loved the relationship the two central character sisters had with each other. It has a humorous side as well as more poignant moments. A couple of unexpected twists that made the book all the more compelling. I really like books like this, about every day lives that encompass all the problems life throws at us but with humour and warmth helping those characters to overcome life's obstacles. Fab book.
