Why am I passionate about this?
I have spent my career in rooms where the better answer lost because it had no tribe. Skype, Microsoft, Google, and now the work I do on quantitative models. The pattern does not change. Biology, language, then the incentive to keep the story intact. I got obsessed with that stack because I am tired of watching honest people get trained out of honesty. The leader I care about is a polymath orchestrator: someone who can hold science, people, and a P&L without turning the room into politics. These books are how I built that frame.

Why Yuval loves this book
Something I learned in neuroscience is that we should be very humble when we try to explain something as complicated as the brain. The unknown is much greater than the known.
I came to Lipton ready to argue, and I kept that humility. I do not need his whole metaphysics to use the book. I recommend it because it made me slower to pretend we have a finished map of mind, belief, and behavior. That humility is part of how I want a new kind of leader to work.

This 10th-anniversary edition of Bruce Lipton's best-selling book
The Biology of Belief has been updated to bolster the book's central premise with the latest scientific discoveries-and there have been a lot in the last decade.
The Biology of Belief is a groundbreaking work in the field of new biology. Former medical school professor and research scientist Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D., presents his experiments, and those of other leading-edge scientists, which examine in great detail the mechanisms by which cells receive and process information.
The implications of this research radically change our understanding of life, showing that genes and DNA do…
