I have researched human origins professionally for almost decades by studying the trail of fossils that have survived millions of years. I am a working artist and a longtime educator. I have been thinking about what makes an artist, how we choose this path, how we keep going when things get challenging, why we are even drawn to creative pursuits for 30+ years.
