All of the pieces fit together beautifully in this book. I loved the food and how each of the characters taught the other something key to love. I loved that not everything was perfect, but the author was able to bring the story to a satisfying and believable ending. These characters were different than any I've ever met, and I have a better understanding of trans issues having read this book. It utterly inspired me.

I found the time the characters spent together built a very believable connection between the two of them. The conflict was original and a better obstacle that the characters had to overcome than I see in many of this genre.
