All of the pieces fit together beautifully in this book. I loved the food and how each of the characters taught the other something key to love. I loved that not everything was perfect, but the author was able to bring the story to a satisfying and believable ending. These characters were different than any I've ever met, and I have a better understanding of trans issues having read this book. It utterly inspired me.
Food and pining, what’s not to love? This book was such a fun read!
I loved the behind-the-scenes details of the restaurant scene, the food descriptions, the fierceness of the women, and the exploration of identity. The character descriptions were brilliant, and I could picture each scene like I was watching a movie.
I left feeling so good (and a bit hungry!)
