I've long been a fan of Jeff Carson' David Wolf series. Tuscan Blood is the second installment of his newest project, the Ali Falcon series, which centers on the exploits of an Italian detective. Carson, a Colorado native, has lived in Italy, and it shows, as Ali Falco's gritty world rings true. I'm looking forward to reading her further adventures.
Jeff Carson's Tuscan Blood is book two in his Ali Falco series about the Italian detective. He delivers yet another fascinating plot in this one, with Ali investigating the murder of a young vintner in the Montalcino wine country. With an Italian wife and several years of residence in Italy, the author is up to the task of immersing the reader in the Italian countryside. Complex characters and tantalizing clues keep the reader engaged until the final page.
