I will read anything that Holly Black writes, but I was particularly excited for another story set in Elfhame. While I love her other characters, there’s something about how fun Oak is. There is trauma, obviously, but Oak is such a dynamic character. Oof, and that slow-burn enemies-to-lovers with Suren is to die for. What else could one want in a book?
