This is Michael Connelly's latest , in his ongoing set of interconnected 'sagas' that originated with the Hieronymous Bosch detective stories. This one is part of the Lincoln Lawyer series featuring attorney Mickey Haller, so it is best described as a courtroom drama. All the books are of course thrillers, but often touch on a current political or social issue.
