Clare Pooley's comedy chops are astounding. How to Age Disgracefully had me laughing aloud, right from the opening prologue in which a van full of senior citizens has been stopped by the police. This is a delightful book by the very funny Clare Pooley. Everyone in it behaves in a completely unexpected manner. It was such a testament to humanity and caring. It has a great opening scene during which a policewoman shouts desperately, "Will you all please stop confessing!" It just gets better from there!

I laughed out loud (which is a rare occurrence!). It's great fun.
