Why read it?

1 author picked Critical Luxury Studies as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

For anyone who is sceptical of those roles for encouraging waste, entrenching inequality, glorifying private indulgence and so on then this is a ‘must read’. The editors in their contribution directly engage with my argument.
