This is the second book in a 3 book series. I have read books 1 and 2 in this series. The reason why I didn't list the 1st book as my favorite is because I think the second book was better than the 1st. AND, you actually don't really need to read the 1st book to enjoy the 2nd book. They can stand independently. I was suprised at how much I liked these books! There wasn't really anything unique about it, as far as a science fiction goes, but what made this book great was the character building. I found…
