I have been writing for years and reading forever. Fantasy books have always been my number one go to as far as genres. I loved how they would teleport me to a new world, allowing me to leave behind reality. The characters became my friends. The worlds became my homes. I couldn’t get enough and still can’t. As I got older, my imagination never stopped. I was constantly creating dreamworld and character plots in my head. Eventually, I started writing, needing the characters to stop talking. The only way to do that was to get them on paper. Since then, I haven’t been able to stop.
I absolutely fell in love with this book. Its characters and the world took me on a journey I wish would have lasted a lifetime. Book one, A Court of Thornes and Roses, was okay, but this book set it over the top for me. I am a sucker for a good love story. Rhys, will forever and always be my book boyfriend.
Maas did such a great job building the characters one by one, creating a family you felt a part of and never wanted to say goodbye to. The different courts were also fun to experience. I also enjoyed the war politics, feeling that it added to the heart of the story. The banter between the characters was also something that helped me fall in love with this series.

Say hello to a strong, resilient female character who doesn’t know the definition of surrendering. And the dragons! They are mythical, fierce, full of secrets, and…they talk to the riders.
This world is filled with an amazing mixture of magic, fantasy, and hints of modern elements. The love story is enemies to lovers, which I absolutely adored and couldn’t get enough of. The family element was also something that captivated me.
I could relate to some challenges and struggles the FMC went through with her siblings and mother along her journey. There were so many twists and surprises that took me off guard and made me come back for more.

I am not a huge YA reader, but this one was super fun and kept me guessing around each page. The love story was intense, and you were constantly questioning if they were going to make it or not. The political side of the story was what really hooked me.
This book starts off with the FMC completely devastated and feeling like she’s lost everything. I loved watching her rebuild herself and her confidence while kicking some a** along the way as she conquered every fear and challenge, she came across.
Morally gray characters, plot twists, curses, and war created a captivating tale I couldn’t put down.

A classic. No matter what age I am, Rowling continues to transport me into a world full of magic, mystery, and suspense.
This book takes the cake for me because of the world she has created. The characters, the towns, the spells, and the SCHOOL. YES! Take me to Hogwarts. I have never wanted to be transported into a world as badly as this one. The details of each character and each scene give you a vivid image of the world she has created.
I love how the books grew with the reader's age as well. Such a clever thing to do to keep your audience captivated.

The adventure here alone makes me want to pick up a bow and fire away!
I love the mixture of characters and personalities. The journey they go on, the relationships created, the personal growth of each character, and the suspense had me staying up late to finish the entire reading in one sitting. I enjoyed how Tolkien sets the stage for each race of character. You can identify them from the way they speak, dress, act, and fight.
The world is beautifully constructed, allowing your imagination to take flight and your heart to sore between the pages, making this one of my all-time favorite adventures.
