My favorite read in 2025

Book cover of My Sister, the Serial Killer

Wendy Lee Hermance ❤️ loved this book because...

Sometimes I just need a light, fun book. The preposterousness of the title grabbed me, and the scenes and characters were similarly over-the-top. But it was thought-provoking throughout. What would we do if we had such a sister? How far would we go to protect her? How are we changed by helping? These are the sorts of real questions that made shows like "Ozark" and "The Wire" so engaging.

My 2nd favorite read in 2025

Book cover of Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler

Wendy Lee Hermance ❤️ loved this book because...

First, it was published in 1974, before this present age of false flags and agendas. It is solid, astonishing, and painstaking research that includes copies of actual signed bank drafts and letters by and from American bankers and corporation heads to Third Reich functionaries. This book is one that has formed a clear understanding of Globalism and War and the Corporate State that we know as The West. (It's chilling.)

By Antony C. Sutton ,

Why should I read it?

1 author picked Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler as one of their favorite books, and they share why you should read it.

What is this book about?

'The contribution made by American capitalism to German war preparations can only be described as phenomenal. It was certainly crucial to German military capabilities...Not only was an influential sector of American business aware of the nature of Naziism, but for its own purposes aided Naziism wherever possible (and profitable) - with full knowledge that the probable outcome would be war involving Europe and the United States'. Penetrating a cloak of falsehood, deception and duplicity, Professor Antony C. Sutton reveals one of the most remarkable but unreported facts of the Second World War: that key Wall Street banks and American businesses…

Book cover of Confessions of an Economic Hit Man

Wendy Lee Hermance ❤️ loved this book because...

I re-read this book to help me understand all the wars and coups happening now. It is a very simple, straight forward explanation of the mechanics of overthrowing a government by another government for private profits.

Weird Foods of Portugal: Adventures of an Expat

By Wendy Lee Hermance ,

Book cover of Weird Foods of Portugal: Adventures of an Expat

What is my book about?

Nothing was as it was supposed to be, not the food, the housing, healthcare, or paid help, but then something changed. A series of tiny somethings kept happening, silting up to something better than had been imagined. Please look for"Welcome to Hesmoriz!" my new book about camping in a mansion, family circuses, cat communes, constant church bells, the welcome of plums, TUNAs, tartarugas, and neighbors bringing gifts - just part of the life on a hill in a village that tilts to the sea.
