Why read it?

3 authors picked When as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

This book changed the way I think about time. It helped me incorporate biological chronotypes into my time management methods. After reading it, I realized that when you go with your flow, you get so much more done.

I love that this book is a great mix of science, stats, and introspective questions. One of my favorite things included are the action items throughout, and the concept of a nappuccino!

From Anna's list on how to live your best life.

The most important thing I learned from this book is that “winners take breaks!” I was the kind of person who kept pushing and pushing and pushing myself because I thought that was how I would get ahead. The author describes the “hidden pattern of everyday life,” and why beginnings and endings (of days, work projects, even life) tend to be more focused and positive, while midpoints often lack energy and focus. He also helps us learn how…
