I'm crazy about historical fiction. I especially like when I'm shown history I don't know already. I always thought Alexander the Great won all his battles. But Tyrant portrays one he lost. Or that his general, Zopyrion, lost, against an alliance of Greeks and Scythians. Tyrant taught me about the culture of the Scythians and also of the Black Sea Greek colonies. I like books that aren't cut and dry, good guys vs. bad guys, and Tyrant is not.
