Why read it?

1 author picked The Weight of This World as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

The Weight of this World is one of my absolute favorite additions to southern literature. I enjoyed this book, and honestly all of David Joy’s books, because it is crafted in a way to show darkness while at the same time showing glimmers of hope within the characters.
