Why read it?

1 author picked The Siege of Burning Grass as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

Premee Mohamed's writing is pristine; her worldbuilding is gorgeous; the book was profoundly beautiful. I felt full of philosophical thoughts and difficult conversations by the end, and was never not entertained throughout.
