Above all else, this book entertains! It did not present deep philosophies and character analyses, leaving that to my imagination, which I sort of liked.
Set against a fascinating tapestry of alternate reality worlds, I related with the main character when he finds himself trapped in a place where everything he knows and loves is gone… then slowly finds a way to restore reality and overcomes adversity.
I loved the amusing, somewhat romantic, interactions between the two main characters and an alien who helps them. It added nice flavor to the story that relieved the underlying tension. This is a…
