Why read it?

1 author picked The Ops Room Girls as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

I knew little about the work of Ops girls before reading this book. Their work for the AARP gave me a real insight into the aerial battles in World War Two.

The three main characters are well-drawn, and I soon felt involved in their lives and romances. Reading about their difficult job, I was impressed by their resilience in living with stress day after day. Part of what helped them was their friendships, and this was what made the story heart-warming as well as fascinating.

From Patricia's list on WW2 saga books.
