I picked up this book in a bookstore as part of my reading materials for an invited seminar on development challenges in Africa during the African Day celebration at a university in the USA. The thing about the book I love most is the very optimistic tone it sets for the continent; a much-needed tonic in a situation where pessimism often beclouds efforts and development initiatives.
