The Inheritance by Ilona Andrews is classic Andrews story telling, meaning it has it all. Great setting, twists and turns, plots and subplots and fantastic characters. It's so easy to root for the characters in this story--a German Shepard affected by magic, a main without enough magic, but they both have the guts to keep moving forward no matter the dangers. There's a sense of found family and yet it doesn't leave behind existing family. Not to be missed urban fantasy.
