Why read it?

1 author picked The Hell Screens as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

It captures some of the peculiar alienation that I felt like a newcomer in Taiwan. Alvin Lu has such a unique voice and way of depicting the world—I can’t wait for more work from him.

From Shawna's list on an otherworldly Taiwan.
