Why read it?

1 author picked The First Girl Child as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

It’s epic in all ways that matter, with amazing world building, endearing and complex characters, sweeping landscapes and battles, love stories, and it’s beautifully written. This is one of those novels you would binge if it was a show, episode by episode, and wish that you could.
