Will I love The Case for Christ?

I was immediately taken in by the author’s simplistic approach to addressing the most common question skeptics have about Christianity. Apologetics doesn’t always need to be overly heady information about science, prophecy, archaeology, or manuscripts. I was pleased by the ease at which the aforementioned subjects were explored by various intellectuals in related fields of study.

This book left me with greater confidence that there are other people, smart people, who share the same faith as myself, a faith that is not blind but backed by a plethora of evidence. 

As a former atheist, Lee Strobel is uniquely qualified to explore the question of theism. In his easy-to-follow style, the author presents compelling evidence that quashed his skepticism and led him to conclude that a Creator exists and that Jesus Christ is His manifestation to mankind.

This is a thorough and popular apologetic work. There is, however, one caveat: Strobel’s interpretation of Christ’s victory is far more narrow than other works on this list that, in my view, correctly acknowledge the ultimate reconciliation of all people to God through Jesus Christ. The Case for Christ is a great reference book for historical facts that demonstrate proof of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I recommend this to skeptics and those who are looking to back up their Christian faith with real-life evidence and historical knowledge. This book is an asset to all libraries, churches, and Christian schools, as it provides irrefutable evidence that Jesus is who the Bible says He is. It is smart, thought-provoking, and life-changing.
