It is one of my favorite books of all time, of any kind. It offers a vibrant mix of big personalities, media transformation, and national politics.
I was fascinated to see how the irrepressible Roosevelt and more reserved Taft interacted with each other and engaged with other people based on their personalities. Many of the lessons seem as relevant today as they were over 100 years ago.
