The Bookseller of Inverness is an enthralling mystery set during the years after the events of the Battle of Culloden in 1745. This is a gripping historical crime story full of curious and appealing characters. Beautifully written with touches of wry humour, Maclean also shows the traumatic and heart-rending complications of Jacobite Scotland.
