I have read and enjoyed all of Kage Baker's books, especially The Company Series. The Anvil of the World was a delightful fantasy adventure that kept me guessing. This book had everything I like: dark humor and broad slapstick, wordplay, a Big Bad Villain (in this case, a demon named the Master of the Mountain) a bit of social commentary in disguise, and, of course, my favorite thing, witty dialogue.
