Will I love Thank You for Listening?

This is best as an audio book because it is a romantic comedy about two audio book readers who hates romantic comedies. The dialog is super clever, the characters are charming and multi-dimensional, and the reader of this audio book is herself the author. Her voices are amazing.

This is one of my favorite audiobooks ever, and the best romance I’ve ever listened to, and that’s unsurprising since Julia Whelan is my favorite audiobook narrator. When I learned she had written a romance about an audiobook narrator, I knew I had to listen to the audiobook she narrated herself. Julia did not disappoint as an author or a performer. I loved how this book presents a romance based both on strong attraction and a relationship that grows over time.

I loved Thank You for Listening because of the intoxicating relationship between the two main characters – I didn’t want the book to end because I wasn’t ready to say goodbye.

The witty, playful, romantic dialogue is so enthralling that it is impossible not to fall in love with the characters and root for their happily ever after. I also loved the unique storyline featuring the life of an audiobook narrator; this felt like a unique glimpse into the audiobook world that I’d never seen before.
