Why read it?
1 author picked Ra Pu Zel and the Stinky Tofu as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?
Of the many retells I have read, this version turns the classic tale on its head the most. With my own reclusive artist tendencies, I found Ra Pu Zel’s wish for alone time to pursue her interests very alluring. From Ana's list on The best picture book retellings with characters out of character.
