Will I love Patient Zero?

I pulled this book out not really expecting much, I had read so many zombie stories that they were all starting to blend together at this point. So I was pleasantly surprised to read a new take, a group of terrorists threatening to use a bioweapon to create a race of zombies. This had very few dead spots, plenty of human/human and human/zombie action to keep me interested while still showing humanity and the conflict of morals when you need to take a life. 

I actually read this book after I read another series by Jonathan Maberry, the Pine Deep trilogy. I was haunted by the Pine Deep series and when I picked up Patient Zero I was once again haunted. The fact that zombies could be a genetic mutation or something brought about by science made me wonder about the state of scientific discovery. Is there a moment when we might go too far in genetics that we have frightening combinations like zombie corn or zombie flowers?
