Strong female characters make me lean in, and these two sisters, both dealing with the loss of two not-so-great men in their lives, had me leaning, laughing, and loving every sentence. I actually barked a laugh out loud several times because these sisters are irreverent and edgy, reminding me of the sassy, edgy me of my youth.

The plot is immersive and I loved feeling like I was a friend they were both confiding in. I love a book that makes me laugh and sigh at the same time.
