A book close to my heart because it is an account of a Navy SEAL K9 handler and his partner.
I had a difficult time reading certain parts because I found myself so worried about K9 Cairo that I could hardly stand to read on. But when the author reconnects with Cairo after their military careers end—both of them permanently affected by their experiences—the book became therapy for me.
It’s a keeper.
