From reading this book I was taken through the challenging emotional journey that was faced by the aboriginal Lucy, challenges which are still faced in modern-day Australia by peoples from the aboriginal culture. I feel it is good to understand different cultures which this book shows, and the inherent challenges, along with reading this fascinating story.
