Will I love I'll Leave You With This?

This novel is every bit as heartening, joyous, and thought-provoking as I’d hoped it would be. This story about the four O’Shea sisters navigating very different lives after their brother, Daniel’s death, becomes especially poignant when, on the third anniversary of his passing, one sister proposes that they trace the many recipients saved by his donated organs. 

Complicated sibling relationships, raw emotions and heartache, I was immediately drawn into the sisters’ imperfect lives and inner turmoils and gripped from the first page of this thoroughly satisfying and believable yarn.

As I come from a small family, I am always fascinated by families with lots of siblings and the dynamics between them.

In I’ll Leave You With This, Kylie Ladd gives us four very different sisters grieving the loss of their only brother. Each of their voices was very distinct and made me think about how we all have our ‘role’ in the family. Do eldest daughters always take control? Do youngest siblings always feel overlooked?
