I am a theater buff, and Barrowman writes extensively about the backstage happenings at many of the musicals he has done on the West End. He is a prankster with a great sense of humor, and the book let me you feel as if I really know him. He also talks about his work on the Dr. Who spinoff TORCHWOOD, so that's an additional bonus for fans of the show. After reading the book I went to YouTube and found numerous videos of John singing, all of which were delightful. Just good fun overall!
