Why read it?

1 author picked How to Steal a Dog as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

This is an entertaining way to teach kids about the reality of living out of a car, the choices kids and their parents must navigate when impoverished, and how we often make biased assumptions when we encounter those less fortunate than ourselves.
