Why read it?

1 author picked Holy Cow as one of their favorite books. Why do they recommend it?

Duchovny’s anthropomorphic adventure about farm animals on a quest for a better (and longer) life is a funny, fast-paced, and uplifting read.

It was easy to suspend my disbelief while opening my heart not merely to the plight of animals destined for slaughter, but to a tale that teaches enlightenment, understanding, and mutual respect for those of different beliefs and cultures.
