I really enjoy this type of wacky story. Serge A. Stormes, the main character in the book, is only one of the many zany characters created by Dorsey that showcase humanity's stranger side. And with Dorsey's reveal of the 'real Florida' I found myself torn between laughter and wondering with some concern if part of it wasn't true. Dorsey's style of writing starts out with a number of interesting subplots, leaving the reader wondering "where is this going"? But his uncanny ability to bring it all together in the end is part of the fun.
