Will I love Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales?

Not the new, watered-down versions, mind you. The original, dark ones that you read now and think, “Who in their right mind would let a kid read this?”

I started reading pretty early and the Complete Fairy Tales has been one of my favorites ever since I was a little girl. This book has definitely led to widening my imagination and helped me write my own stories even when I was as little as 8. Many of my writings are inspired by different fairy tales, and this book is definitely one of those. 

We have all grown up with fairytales being told to us. However, they are the watered-down versions of the Grimm brother's tales. If you really want to know the truth about your favorite fairytale characters (i.e. red riding hood, the three little pigs, etc…), then pick this book up. It will change your entire childhood.

I love fairytales, whether the dark originals with their painfully executed morals or the softer ‘children’s’ versions that have become household staples, these fairytales are part of my German heritage and have been a staple in my life from the start.
