I started reading the Outlander series many years ago, and eagerly waited for the next book to be published but there was a long gap between the eight and ninth book so I forgot about it.

After watching the TV-series (highly recommend, but read the books first) I realized that the ninth book had been published so I had to read it as well. The story might seem simple, but I find it great to just dive into the 17th century for a while, read about their joys and hardships, and follow the love story between Jamie and Claire…

I absolutely love a book series. The bigger, the better! I invested in the Outlander book series some years ago, and with it nearing its conclusion (this is the penultimate of the series), I cannot wait for the final installment.

Initially set in Scotland (my inspiration!), it’s a wonderful story, with an element of fantasy, about two people from different timelines choosing to stay together throughout some of the most turbulent times in history.
