If I thought I would read about the hundreds of influential world leaders that Malala met, well, I was wrong. This isn't about world leaders. It is the story of a young woman sincerely trying to find her place in the world, balancing notoriety against the everyday demands of writing a class essay. It is about establishing her own goals while meeting the expectations of others. Her honesty, joy and grief took me on a splendid journey with her.
