Will I love Everything Is Tuberculosis?

When I told a friend I was reading this, she said "John Green from The Fault in Our Stars?" Yes, that one, but this is not a YA novel! (Although it does feature a young protagonist in the form of Henry, an ever optimistic teenager with tuberculosis.) It's a serious but still witty look at the state of tuberculosis in a world that really should have eradicated it ages ago.

John Green is correct, everything is tuberculosis. Green makes the case that "the real cause of contemporary tuberculosis is, for lack of a better term, us." In other words, we have everything we need to eliminate tuberculosis, except the will to do it. And in this era of anti-science and conspiracy theories, it is a delight to read a book which gets the science right. Prepare to become an advocate for eliminating tuberculosis worldwide.
