Mary Kubica might be my favorite author. She’s the master of psychological suspense, and I’m like a little fanboy waiting for her next book to come out. But back to this audiobook.

A woman’s husband dies in a car wreck. But it’s not what it seems. Or is it? The tension between Clara’s post-crash grief and Nick’s pre-crash stress is brought to the forefront by the dueling narrators—Robins and Hamilton—telling each protagonist’s story in a dual timeline.

This is easily a one-day read—good luck putting it down.
