Will I love Code Red?

Code Red is everything you want in a high-stakes thriller. The pacing is relentless, pulling you into a deadly game involving a Russian plot to use a weaponized drug to destabilize Europe. What hooked me was how Mitch Rapp, always one to face impossible odds, finds himself in a situation where allegiances shift constantly and the stakes couldn't be higher.

Mills layers in just the right amount of current geopolitical tension, making the plot feel terrifyingly real. If you’re into thrillers that mix action with smart political maneuvering, Code Red will keep you turning pages late into the night.

I always anticipate Kyle Mills’ books and his portrayal of Vince Flynn’s iconic character Mitch Rapp. This time around, I knew it was his last, as the torch was being passed to Don Bentley for future Rapp adventures. 

Code Red did not disappoint, with most of the book being from Mitch’s perspective, which I loved. It delivers all the thrills with real-life commentary. Mitch is a character that grows, and I always find something to connect with, even if my own life doesn’t even come close to mirroring his.
