This is a simple, true story, very well told. A dog is spooked and runs away. Murphy’s owners go looking for him and try to find the dog and bring him home. Simple, right? Not as simple as it seems. This book reminded me of another great book: Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. The author’s determination, ingenuity and love of the dog all come through strongly in the writing.
