As a big fan of spooky short story collections, I was really looking forward to Autumncrow by Cameron Chaney, host of the fantastic spooky book recommendation account and YouTube channel Library Macabre.

This book far surpassed my already high expectations. The stories are truly unique takes on hallowed horror anchor points, wonderfully balancing comforting accessibility with genuine originality. Cameron is an expert of the horror genre, and his writing is crisp and visceral. A truly impressive debut.
