I’m a friend of Joe's going way back to just before he looked for “something technical” at the CBC. Some of these stories from his years there, many of which coincided with my 18 years there, which were a remarkable time at Canada's public broadcaster.

This collection of memories, thoughts, and reflections rings true for me. But the sad story is that, but for Joe’s book, those days are long gone in the history of Canada’s most important cultural institution.
